The process between the time of an online order and delivery

The luxury of buying online


It used to be normal to go to the shops to do your shopping. There were shops for everything one might need and everyone knew the best locations. Whether it was daily groceries, the most luxurious furniture or the latest gadgets, there was a shop for everything. With the rise of the internet, everything got a lot easier. Instead of physical stores, online webshops started popping up and it was now possible to buy everything, and I mean everything, online. This is how Bestbuyenvelopes was born. Starting in 2014, people could order their envelopes and packaging online with a few clicks of a button and have them delivered to their doorstep! But what exactly happens between the time of purchase and delivery?
 

The webshop


It all starts with the webshop itself. Just like any other store/webshop, Bestbuyenvelopes is always looking for the optimal experience for our customers. It's where we first meet our customers and it's up to us to leave a great first (and second, third, etc.) impression! In recent years it has become increasingly important to review the entire experience from A to Z and ensure that customers have a positive experience with your store. With the new design that we rolled out in 2021, this was the number 1 priority. The optimal experience was created from the customer's perspective. Combined with an ever-expanding range of products and a team of specialists, we do our utmost to successfully address all questions and needs of our customers.


Processing the order


After the customer has placed an order, a process instantly starts to get the order to the customer as quick and accurate as possible. Whether it concerns a standard order or a customer with a specific request that is looking for a sparring partner, our sales specialists get to work immediately. As soon as the order has been reviewed and any questions have been answered, it will be passed on to the warehouse. Here the order is collected and carefully packed so that it can be shipped that same day with one of our carriers.


The transport


Bestbuyenvelopes works together with DPD to ensure that packages are delivered to customers as quickly as possible. Every day, several trucks full of orders leave the Bestbuyenvelopes warehouse to the DPD depots. Everything is then checked and sorted there, so that it can be shipped from the depot to the customer the next day!


Good relationship with the customer


As you have just read, there are still quite a few steps that need to be taken to ensure that the entire process from A to Z runs smoothly after a sale. In addition to a good website and a good range of products, good relationships with our logistics and other partners are essential to be able to serve the customer optimally. All of this has one very important goal, and that is a satisfied customer!
